Thank you for your answers. Lucy, I wanted to let you know some info because of your experience that you listed, you're a former claim adjuster. Until now, I didn't state the actual amounts the insurance company has offered because I was paranoid. Anyway, the initial offer which was offered by a very flaky/non communicative adjuster was 5,000. She classified my injury (2 disc protrusions causing chronic pain) as a soft injury and claimed that there wasn't any room to go up in the pain & suffering amount. It's been 1 year since the accident and the company's statute of limitation is 2 years from the date of the accident. After complaining about the initial adjuster's customer service (never called back when she said she would. went on vacation 3 times during the year while handling my claim.
